The inaugural bottle of this series is a 10-year-old Ben Nevis. Nowadays, Ben Nevis is celebrated for its fruity profile, largely attributed to batches from the late 1990s. However, Ben Nevis distilled after the millennium tends to exhibit a rather different character: rich and oily with a variety of notes and abundant tertiary flavors. On rare occasions, Ben Nevis also produces a peated style of whisky, though few of these expressions reach independent bottlers. Our selected Ben Nevis, distilled in 2013 and aged in a second-fill sherry butt, boasts a peated profile that we found utterly irresistible, despite its relative youth. It presents an intriguingly unusual profile – delightfully so.

We are thrilled to unveil our new mini-series, Retrofuturism. This series, conceived by Club Qing, comprises five unique artworks. Retrofuturism, a movement in the creative arts, reflects the influence of past-era depictions of the future. As inherently curious and imaginative beings, we constantly envision what the future might hold, a notion equally prevalent in both past and present times. The paintings in this series represent interpretations of future travel as imagined by people in the 18th century.
